Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Light Equipment Operator 2 (Finance) for its South Plant in Crawfordsville. The role involves operating finishing and packaging equipment, setting up machines, and ensuring accurate data entry of final counts.

Shifts are nights with 8- and 10-hour durations. Starting rate is $20.75–$25.00 per hour, with a 7% increase for second/third shifts, plus safety reimbursements and vacation benefits. Training provided and tools supplied.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow job specifications.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing and packaging equipment.
• Set up and adjust machines for production.
• Create job packets and enter final counts into software.
• Verify correct information is gathered at the start of the shift to complete the job.
