Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to join the Behavioral Health team in Wisconsin. The role supports ADLs, orients patients, and escorts them through tests and activities while maintaining a safe environment.

Night shift is 8 hours, with a patterned schedule for up to 6+ months and weekend/holiday rotation. Required Nursing Assistant training and BLS certification, plus CPI within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School with Nursing Assistant program.
• Completion of CPI’s Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor activities of daily living for patients.
• Orient patients and families to unit and hospital.
• Escort patients to tests, meals, activities and supervise behavior.
• Perform vital signs and document observations in medical records.
• Defuse crisis situations and report significant incidents.
