Responsibilities include administering medications, performing assessments, documenting care, and participating in emergency responses while teaching patients and families about treatment and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and the nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately, reporting changes in condition to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as appropriate.
• Provides patient and family education on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Monitors medical equipment and supports patient safety and comfort.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with all policies.
