Job summary

Total Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Batcher) in Chicago, IL for the 3rd shift. The role is a possible temp-to-hire position with a pay rate of $17.05 per hour.

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 11pm to 7am, with duties that include preparing raw materials, operating batching equipment, and maintaining batch records. The successful candidate will read formulas, measure materials, monitor equipment, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with batching processes and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret production formulas, recipes, and specifications.
• Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurement.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials.
• Adherence to safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
• Good communication with team and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare raw materials for batching according to production specifications and formulas.
• Operate batching equipment and machinery to mix ingredients in proper proportions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure accurate and efficient batching processes.
• Maintain records of batch production, including quantities, materials used, and any adjustments made.
• Inspect materials for quality and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of batching equipment to comply with safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of batches for further processing.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
