Job summary

Quanex Building Products Corp. is seeking a Batch Off Operator to run batch-off and packaging for mixed compound. The role reports to Manufacturing and requires focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Shift times are 10:45pm to 7:00am with a $1.00/hour premium on 2nd/3rd shift.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Close visual work required.
• Knowledge of general computer skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate batch-off and packaging of mixed compound.
• Monitor production output to maintain quality.
• Operate computer control system and barcode printer.
• Refill batch dip and maintain slab dip levels.
• Clean batch-off bars, dip tank, and packaging containers weekly.
• Operate Pelletizer and assist with setting up next batch.
