Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Bag Machine Operator for our night shift in Romeoville, IL. You will operate and maintain bag lines to deliver high-quality bags with minimal scrap, following all procedures and safety guidelines.

The role requires lifting heavy bags, working in a manufacturing environment, and collaborating with Quality and Maintenance teams to optimize line performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills needed.
• Ability to read and interpret standard measuring tapes.
• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Key Operating Procedures.
• Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
• Pack bags into boxes, cap and apply tubes per bag specs, from a standing position with breaks every two hours.
• Ensure box and tote counts match bag specifications.
• Push boxes of bags (70–75 pounds) from packers’ conveyor to box conveyor.
• Report any suspect or defective product for review and possible destruction or hold.
