Job description

A hotel night auditor is a hybrid role that combines overnight front desk operations with accounting. Working typically from 11 PM to 7 AM, they handle guest check-ins, resolve complaints, ensure hotel security, and “roll the date” by reconciling the day’s financial transactions into comprehensive reports.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Auditing: Reconciles daily revenues, processes credit card batches, balances cash drawers, and generates morning revenue reports for management.
• Front Desk Operations: Checks in late arrivals, processes early departures, answers the phones, and handles concierge inquiries.
• Security & Safety: Monitors the property, prints emergency contingency rosters, and acts as the point person for any nighttime security or medical incidents.

Early Morning Prep

Often prepares continental breakfast stations or runs early morning wake-up calls.

All other duties as assigned.
