Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah is seeking a Part-Time Night Auditor to serve as the overnight face of the property, balancing daily revenues and ensuring accurate reporting while delivering warm, guest-focused service. The ideal candidate will have previous night audit or front desk experience, comfort working independently overnight, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Previous Night Audit or Front Desk experience in a full-service hotel is preferred.
• Experience with multiple revenue streams such as rooms, F&B, spa, club, or retail is a plus.
• Experience with hotel PMS, guest folios, payments, and end-of-day procedures.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Polished communication skills and a commitment to guest service.
• Comfortable working independently overnight, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as overnight Front Desk presence with cheerful, polished service.
• Complete guest check-ins/check-outs, assist with reservations, respond to requests.
• Execute nightly audit procedures and verify financial transactions.
• Balance and reconcile revenue and prepare overnight reports.
• Review guest folios, identify discrepancies, resolve billing issues.

About the role

Recess Hotel & Club is seeking a Part-Time Night Auditor to serve as the overnight face of the hotel, providing exceptional guest service while ensuring the accuracy of daily financial and operational reporting.

This role combines the responsibilities of an overnight Front Desk Agent with the detail and accountability of the nightly audit process. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, and confident working independently, with the ability to manage guest needs, resolve issues, and accurately balance a complex full-service hotel operation.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary Front Desk presence during overnight hours, providing cheerful, polished service to guests
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs, assist with reservations, and respond to guest requests and concerns
• Complete nightly audit procedures and verify the accuracy of financial transactions, payments, and daily revenue
• Balance and reconcile revenue across hotel operations and prepare required overnight reports
• Review guest folios, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing or posting issues
• Maintain awareness of hotel occupancy, arrivals, departures, special requests, and overnight activity
• Respond calmly and professionally to guest concerns, operational issues, and emergency situations
• Communicate important overnight activity and follow-up needs to hotel leadership and incoming teams
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized Front Desk and lobby environment
• Help ensure the hotel is fully prepared for a successful start to the next day

Qualifications

• Previous Night Audit, Front Desk, or Guest Services experience in a full-service hotel or resort strongly preferred
• Experience in a hotel with multiple revenue streams such as rooms, food and beverage, spa, club, retail, or other amenities preferred
• Experience with hotel property management systems, guest folios, payment processing, and end-of-day procedures
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Polished, professional communication skills and a genuine commitment to exceptional guest service
• Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions during overnight hours
• Dependable and able to consistently work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays based on business needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required
