Qualifications

• Night Auditor responsibilities include overnight guest service and accurate daily accounting.
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented and self-directed.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to stay calm, make sound decisions, and solve problems independently.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems.
• Previous hotel front desk, night audit, accounting, or customer service experience preferred.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests throughout the overnight shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests.
• Complete the nightly audit process and balance daily hotel transactions accurately.
• Review charges, payments, and reports, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare and distribute daily operational and financial reports.
• Respond to guest questions or concerns and take ownership through resolution.
• Monitor the property overnight and communicate any guest, operational, or safety concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Prepare the front desk and necessary information for the next day’s team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support the property and our guests.
