Job summary

Kent Island Resort is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight hotel operations, provide guest service, and perform financial reconciliations. The role blends front desk responsibilities with accounting duties to ensure accurate nightly reporting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hospitality or front desk experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in customer service or front desk preferred.
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and PMS software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and check out guests during overnight hours with a professional demeanor.
• Perform the nightly audit and reconcile daily hotel transactions.
• Balance room revenue and cash/credit card records; generate reports.
• Maintain accurate guest records in the PMS and process payments.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for overnight needs; ensure safety.
