Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Night Auditor for our Tampa area property. The role focuses on night audit, guest service, and front desk support with a strong emphasis on accurate accounting and guest satisfaction.

Experience in accounting or night audit, knowledge of PMS, and a high school diploma are required. This full-time position includes benefits and opportunities for growth within a multi-location hospitality company.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily guest ledger.
• Post daily room rates and taxes.
• Ensure accuracy of charges to guest folios.
• Handle end-of-day accounting functions.
• Check guests in and out; manage reservations.
• Cash drops per procedures.
• Maintain Front Desk readiness for shifts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Audits the daily guestledger

Handles all end-of-day accounting functions including posting daily room rates and roomtax

Ensures accuracy of all charges toguest folios

Averages sum of revenues of all accounts receivable from food, room andother departments

Acts as front desk clerk, checking guests in and out, bookingreservations and resolving guest issues

Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash handlingprocedures

Organize the Front Desk area so that the A.M. Front Desk staff can properly prepare for theirshift

Monitors hotel security camerasystem

Ensures that lobby is well-maintained, properly lit and with music at proper volume

Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Any other duties asassigned

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditorrole

Knowledge of PMS

High School Diploma/GED

• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to multi-task

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Team player

Ability to exceed expectations of guests
