Job summary

Residence Inn Kansas City Olathe is seeking a Night Auditor to balance revenue, close daily accounts, and reset systems for the next day’s operations. The role combines guest service duties with front office accounting responsibilities in a hotel setting.

You will audit cashiers, reconcile transactions, and input information into the BRAINS network while assisting guests with check-in/check-out and inquiries. This position supports guest satisfaction and requires standing and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Previous night audit or accounting experience is required or training provided.
• Computer knowledge and arithmetic skills are required.
• FSD is a plus, expected within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Balance revenue and close nightly audits.
• Maintain records of room availability and guest accounts.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.
• Audit and reconcile cashiers and transactions.
• Process credit card settlements and BRAINS system entries.
• Assist guests with check-in/check-out and guest service tasks.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues.
• Strive to improve guest satisfaction scores.
