Delaware North Parks and Resorts seeks a customer-service focused seasonal Front Desk Clerk and Night Auditor for Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park, California. You will handle night audit, guest check-in/out, billing queries, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering friendly service.

The role is seasonal with on-site housing options and a benefits package. Applicants must be 18+, comfortable with weekend and overnight shifts, and able to use Microsoft Excel for basic reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work two overnight shifts and three day or evening shifts each week.
• Previous experience in cash handling.
• Previous experience in customer service environment is beneficial.
• Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Run night audit function, reconcile credit card payments, input sales and manual sales sheets, understand guest folio, explanation of billing and how to make any needed corrections.
• Review pending advance deposits and charges, check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently.
• Quote room rates and room package information, post charges for in-house accounts.
• Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments, securing the bank at all times and follow proper cash handling policies.
• Cash handling and accountability; maintain accurate paperwork as it relates to front office operations.
• Check and balance the daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts
