Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates, owner of Hampton Sarasota, is seeking a part-time Night Auditor to join the team at Hampton Inn & Suites Sarasota. The Night Auditor works overnight, greeting guests, handling check-ins/outs, and balancing accounts.

Responsibilities include using the property management system, processing reservations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Requires a HS diploma, some guest-service experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience, hotel setting preferred.
• Brand experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
• Typical Schedule: 11 PM–7 AM; must be flexible including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in/check-out in the Property Management System, collecting and storing relevant information.
• Handle cash, credit card information and property goods.
• Identify guest needs and provide information about hotel services to create an accommodating environment.
• Take reservations from callers and input all information into the hotel management system; update/cancel as requested.
• Organize shift paperwork, close and balance room accounts and vouchers, investigate and analyze imbalances, and run night audit reports.
