Description

SUMMARY: Process daily audit of the hotel’s financial data. Handle guest requests and transactions, and coordinate with other departments as necessary.

Responsibilities:

1. Verify each Front Desk shift’s transactions.
2. Process credit card transactions.
3. Post tax charges to guest folios.
4. Finalize transactions completed during the day.
5. Create and print required reports.
6. File or transmit reports as directed.
7. Prepare folios for departing guests.
8. Handle hotel phone system, transfer calls, and take messages.
9. Manage guest reservations, including modifications and cancellations.
10. Verify, balance, and review hotel suite availability.
11. Check in/out guests, perform express checkout, and assist with future reservations.
12. Post miscellaneous charges to guest accounts.
13. Administer guest payment policies and shift cash transactions.
14. Maintain hotel key security system and safe deposit boxes.
15. Know hotel emergency procedures.
16. Coordinate with other departments for guest requests.
17. Communicate hotel facilities and services to guests.
18. Address guest questions about local area facilities.
19. Report problems with suites or grounds to Housekeeping and Maintenance.
20. Perform any reasonable management requests.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Front Desk Night Auditor, your responsibilities include processing credit card transactions, handling reservations, verifying room availability, performing check-in/out procedures, and maintaining the lobby appearance. Be familiar with all hotel emergency procedures.
