Qualifications

  • 1-year experience as a Guest Services Agent is required.
  • Knowledge of accounting operations along with basic mathematical skills.
  • Comfortable working on a computer and able to get CPR/First Aid Certification.

In this pivotal overnight role, you will extend a warm welcome to our guests and deliver exceptional service throughout their stay. As a Night Auditor, your dedication to guest satisfaction and meticulous attention to closing and resetting systems for seamless next-day operations will elevate our standards.


Essential Job Functions:
• Deliver unparalleled service, courtesy, and care to our guests by responding promptly and effectively to guest questions and requests
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in preparing daily Food & Beverage revenue reports, and in creating and balancing PMS reports for revenue and settlement accounts
• Make corrections and adjustments via the PMS and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift
• Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the computer system to generate daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary
• Efficiently conduct check-ins, check-outs, and promptly answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
• Resolve guest concerns with attentive service recovery

Other Responsibilities Include:

Night Audit– Perform nightly audits of the SPASOFT (Spa & Tennis), ALOHA (Food & Beverage) and HOST (Rooms) systems. This includes carefully scrutinizing transactions, making notes for managers, posting room rates, closing and rolling dates, closing and securing closed hotel areas and producing the hotel daily revenue reports

Front Desk– Responsible for overall guest service including, but not limited to, resolving guest complaints, check-ins, check-outs, room upgrades and moves, handling maintenance and housekeeping requests, and answering and directing phone calls

Concierge– Manage guest experience by informing guests of various activities and dining around the area. Ability to book an activity or reservation as requested by the guest

Bellman/Valet–Responsible for greeting guests and assist with the parking of their vehicle and/or luggage. Introduce guest to their room and acquaint them with the features of their stay

Physical Demands:
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10 lbs
• Standing and moving about in the guest services and restaurant/bar areas throughout the shift
• Primarily standing for majority of shift


Qualifications:
Education:
• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience:
• Hotel experience preferred
• 1-year experience as a Guest Services Agent required
• Knowledge of accounting operations such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, server service fees, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills to prepare financial reporting
• Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to get CPR/First Aid Certification
• Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus. Examples: HOST
