Job summary

Kolter Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor for The Westin Sarasota in Sarasota, FL to deliver service excellence overnight, reconcile hotel cashier transactions, and balance front desk and food & beverage revenues to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.

The position requires at least 1 year of hotel experience, ability to work weekend/holiday shifts, and solid computer skills with basic accounting knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Hotel experience required for at least 1 year.
  • Able to work most weekends and holidays.
  • Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
  • Knowledge of basic computer operations.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting functions.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and balance front desk transactions.
  • Reconcile and balance food and beverage transactions from micros reports.
  • Post room and tax to guest account.
  • Coordinate all guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner ensuring problem resolution is satisfactory.
  • Check guests in/out as necessary.
  • Communicate with other departments and shifts to coordinate and follow up on all guest room information.
  • Know and carry out specified duties in response to fire alarm, guest medical emergency and security threats.
  • Report any items in need of repair.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working.

This position is responsible for auditing, balancing, and reporting food and beverage and front desk revenues and providing accurate, timely information to ensure hotel policy is followed.

Performance Expectations:
  • Reconcile and balance front desk transactions.
