Job summary

Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek is seeking a Night Audit professional to ensure financial controls and hotel standards are maintained across shifts. The role coordinates with Security and Housekeeping to deliver high-quality guest service while balancing daily revenues.

The position emphasizes accurate data entry, audit reporting, and timely nightly reconciliations. Hotel experience preferred, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within HEI Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform 10-key calculations.
• Ability to handle guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ability to input information accurately using a moderately complex computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing POS tapes and journals to breakdown revenue, covers, tips, and settlements by type and cashier.
• Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, POS, and computer; make corrections and resolve discrepancies.
• Enter revenue/expenses/allowances into the front office system to generate daily summaries such as Guest Ledger and Daily Restaurant Summary.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly; maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
