The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is looking for a part-time Night Auditor to join our team! A beautiful Historic Hotel of America located in the heart of Portland's Old Port District.
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 11pm- 7am

Summary: The general purpose of the Night Audit position is to reconcile the hotel’s daily receipts from all departments by reviewing all accounting work done by various departments. These departments include the restaurants, Lounge, The Spa, Banquets, and the Front Desk. It is also the purpose of the Night Auditor to function as a Front Desk Agent and handle all guest requests including the checking in and out of guests. Must be flexible in scheduling and able to provide relief to Part Time Auditor with holidays, vacations, sick time and any other schedule requests.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises one employee in Night Security. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but not limited to - addressing complaints and resolving problems. Indirectly supervises the work of the Part-time Auditor, and when following his/her work you need to assist with communicating any changes or errors that need to be made.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid drivers license.
Other Skills and Abilities
Requires the ability to comprehend computer and PBX skills. Microsoft Word and Excel.
Property Management System = Opera
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
