Job summary

AC Hotel Park City in Utah is seeking a Night Auditor (Part Time) to perform nightly audit tasks while delivering outstanding guest service at the front desk. You will assist guests with check-ins and check-outs, process reservations, and respond to inquiries during the overnight shift.

The role emphasizes proactive thinking, safety, cash handling, and accurate cash drawer management. You will greet guests, register and assign rooms, prepare express checkout folios, and maintain room status

Responsibilities

• Proactive thinking to keep guest security in mind and create a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
• Count cash and maintain the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Check the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Process guest registrations, including collecting payment.
• Prepare express checkout folios.
• Maintain room status inventory.
• Communicate shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff.
• Maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed.
• Communicate all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.
• Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions; explain in-room and hotel features.
• Complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

The Night Auditor (Part Time) is responsible for completing all nightly audit functions while delivering exceptional guest service at the hotel’s front desk. While performing audit duties, the Night Auditor also assists guests with check-ins and check-outs, processes reservations, and responds to guest inquiries, ensuring a high level of service throughout the overnight shift.
