Job Purpose: To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct departments, balance all revenue departments daily, and complete all necessary reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the hotel and company daily.
- Verify wake-up call requests and ensure proper handling.
- Balance cash receipts, work performed during the shift, and make cash deposits.
- Prepare the front office for the ‘A’ shift and reset the day’s business.
- Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during night hours.
- Serve as PBX operator during the shift.
- Participate in all front office meetings and training programs.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills:
- Understand and apply math concepts for financial tasks.
- Work math problems quickly and accurately.
- Use computers and related equipment effectively.
- Communicate financial information clearly in speech and writing.
Discretion & Independent Judgment:
- Act as a guest service representative and manager on duty during night hours.
- Balance cash receipts, perform work, and make deposits during the shift.
Physical Requirements:
- Speak and hear in English, with necessary visual capabilities.
- Frequent sitting, with some walking and standing.
- Lift/carry up to 25 lbs; work overtime or irregular hours as needed.
Working Conditions:
- Work mainly in office conditions, close proximity to others.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous guest service or front desk experience preferred.
- No certifications required.
