Job summary

Hyatt Caption Nashville is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to oversee overnight front desk operations and financial processing. You will balance daily transactions, review revenue reports, and ensure accurate postings for guest accounts.

You will greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, respond to requests, and maintain a calm, professional environment during nocturnal hours. Prior hotel front desk or accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel front desk or accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with PMS systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and hotel PMS.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assist guests; process check-ins/check-outs.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest requests, and resolve issues promptly.
• Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Run and review daily reports (e.g., room charges, revenue summaries).
• Audit and verify front desk postings and transactions.
• Process cash, credit card, and direct-bill transactions accurately.
• Ensure all reservations, cancellations, and no-shows are properly logged.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and emergency protocols.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
