Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team in Nashville. The role includes auditing daily ledgers, posting room rates and taxes, ensuring charges are accurate, and supporting front desk operations.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in accounting or as a Night Auditor, knowledge of PMS, and a High School Diploma or GED. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audit daily guest ledger and posting of room rates and taxes.
• Ensure accuracy of charges to guest folios and AR across departments.
• Serve as front desk agent—check-in/out, reservations, guest issue resolution.
• Perform end-of-day accounting functions and cash handling tasks.
• Maintain lobby appearance and ensure proper front desk setup for shifts.
• Monitor security systems and assist with guest safety as needed.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audits the daily guestledger
• Handles all end-of-day accounting functions including posting daily room rates and roomtax
• Ensures accuracy of all charges toguest folios
• Averages sum of revenues of all accounts receivable from food, room andother departments
• Acts as front desk clerk, checking guests in and out, bookingreservations and resolving guest issues
• Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash handlingprocedures
• Organize the Front Desk area so that the A.M. Front Desk staff can properly prepare for theirshift
• Monitors hotel security camerasystem
• Ensures that lobby is well-maintained, properly lit and with music at proper volume
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Any other duties asassigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditorrole
• Knowledge of PMS
• High School Diploma/GED
