Job summary

Hyatt Place Minneapolis/Downtown is seeking a Night Auditor who thrives in a quiet overnight environment and loves numbers. You will greet guests, handle late check-ins, balance the books, and finalize daily transactions with precision.

You will produce the Daily Flash Report, coordinate with other departments, and use Windows, Excel and Word to document issues and outcomes. The role rewards accuracy, teamwork, and a proactive approach to safety and service during the night shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field preferred, supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests during overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM) and handle check-ins/reservations.
• Balance the books and finalize transactions with precision.
• Conduct regular security checks to ensure guest safety and property integrity.
• Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations at night.
• Utilize Windows, spreadsheets, and Word to document and solve issues.

• Master of Midnight Math: Own the Night Audit! Balance the books, finalize transactions, and make sure every number is in its perfect place. Detail lovers, this is your time to shine.
• Guardian of the Glow-Up: Keep the property safe and sound with regular security walks. You’re the calm, watchful presence that helps guests sleep easy.
• The Nightly Newsroom: Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to give management the inside scoop on what went down while the world was sleeping.
• Teamwork After Twilight: Work hand-in-hand with other departments to keep operations smooth and service top-notch—even in the wee hours.
• Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: If you’re fluent in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs—and you’ve got a knack for solving problems solo—you’ll fit right in.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.
