Job Purpose
To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct departments, balance all revenue departments daily, and complete necessary reports.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all audit procedures as set by the hotel and company daily.
- Verify wake-up call requests and ensure proper handling.
- Balance all cash receipts, work during the shift, and make cash deposits.
- Prepare the front office for the ‘A’ shift and reset the day’s business.
- Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during night hours.
- Operate the PBX during the audit shift.
- Participate in front office meetings and training programs.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills
- Use math concepts to handle financial tasks accurately.
- Work with computers and related equipment.
- Communicate clearly in reporting financial information.
Discretion & Independent Judgment
- Serve as Guest Service representative and manager on duty at night.
- Balance cash receipts and make deposits.
Physical Requirements
- Speak and hear in English, with visual acuity.
- Frequently sit, with some walking and standing.
- Lift/carry up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Work overtime and irregular hours as required.
Working Conditions
- Work primarily in office conditions, close to others.
Qualifications
- Education: HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior guest service or front desk experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
