This position is a Part-Time overnight shift and requires availability to work Friday night and Saturday overnight. Prior customer service experience is highly desired. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests during check-in and complete reporting and computer work during the shift.

The NIGHT AUDITOR's primary responsibilities include computing, classifying, and recording numerical data to maintain complete financial records. This involves routine calculating, posting, verifying duties, and checking the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions recorded by other staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Approach all guest and employee interactions in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Comply with all standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
  • Run reports required for Food and Beverage audits.
  • Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
  • Balance the day’s work.
  • Handle cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures.
  • Operate the Front Office computer system.
  • Perform all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
  • Manage guest requests from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily.
  • Follow safety and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain proper record keeping (e.g., log books).
  • Be familiar with all policies and house rules.
  • Prepare and submit initial direct bills daily, attaching all backup documentation.
  • Maintain radio contact with staff during shifts.
  • Understand and follow security procedures.
  • Ensure attentiveness, friendliness, helpfulness, and courtesy towards guests, managers, and colleagues.
  • Prepare and distribute the Daily Flash Report.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED preferred; hotel or related experience advantageous. Completion of bartender training is a plus.
