Job Description

The Relief Night staff is responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service. Responsibilities include processing check-ins/outs, securing payment, verifying billing, and assisting guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, while maintaining high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction. Additionally, the role supports night auditor functions such as ensuring accurate billing and running transaction reports, as well as maintaining the safety and security of hotel guests and the entire facility. The position requires shifts during overnight hours, including weekends and holidays.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent customer service skills, a pleasant personality, and a love for interacting with guests.
  • Knowledge of modern office procedures, methods, and equipment (computer, copier, fax, telephone, etc.).
  • Proficiency with applicable computer software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously and handle the public in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Effective verbal communication skills; ability to establish and maintain working relationships with employees and the public.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have graduated from high school or completed a GED.
  • One year of experience in customer service and six months of experience in a clerical capacity.
  • Previous cash handling and/or transaction experience is required.
