Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a seasoned Night Auditor to join our luxury property. You will perform end-of-day financial close, balance revenue, and assist late-night guests with check-ins and check-outs, delivering personalized service.

You’ll run nightly audit reports, verify room rates, manage reservations for the next day, handle late-night billing, and provide detailed handover notes to the morning team. Strong numerical accuracy and experience with PMS are essential.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and accounting software.
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile financial reports, balance ledgers and processing payments.
  • Knowledge of night audit procedures, including room rate verification and financial summaries.
  • Meticulous with numbers, capable of identifying discrepancies and errors in financial records.
  • Ability to conduct detailed audits with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for late-night guest interactions and issue resolution.
  • Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently during off-peak hours.

We currently have an opportunity for a well‑rounded and seasoned Night Auditor to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort!

Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate end-of-day financial reports and balance all revenue transactions, ensuring all accounts are settled and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Assist late-night guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries or requests, delivering personalized and exceptional service.
  • Handle all front desk responsibilities during overnight shifts, including answering calls, processing payments, and providing information on hotel amenities and services.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during the night shift, responding swiftly to emergencies or guest concerns.
  • Run nightly audit reports, verify room rates and revenue data, and prepare detailed financial summaries for management review.
  • Oversee reservation systems and ensure accuracy in room assignments, rates, and guest details for the following day’s operations.
  • Handle late-night guest billing, review folios for accuracy, and address discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Assist with preparing for the morning shift, including coordinating with housekeeping for early arrivals.
  • Ensure all financial data and guest information are handled per company confidentiality policies and industry regulations.
  • Provide detailed handover notes for the morning shift, highlighting any issues, guest requests, or items needing follow-up.
  • Provide cross‑departmental support as needed, embodying a team‑oriented approach to service and operations.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisor
Physical Requirements
  • Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while assisting guests and performing front desk duties.
  • Sitting: Ability to sit for periods while completing administrative tasks, answering phones, making reservations, and processing guest information.
  • Lifting/Carrying: Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to approximately 25 pounds, including guest materials, supplies, files, or equipment.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Ability to push or pull drawers, doors, carts, luggage, or other items as needed.
  • Bending/Reaching: Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and stretch to access supplies, documents, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Fine Motor Skills: Ability to use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, credit card terminal, and other front desk equipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Visual Requirements: Ability to read computer screens, guest information, identification documents, reports, signage, and other written materials.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear and respond appropriately to guests, coworkers, telephone calls, radios, alarms, and other audible communications.
  • Mobility: Ability to move safely and efficiently around the front desk, lobby, and other areas of the hotel as required.
  • Guest Assistance: Ability to assist guests with luggage, directions, requests, and other basic needs within the scope of the position.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a busy hotel environment with frequent guest interaction, noise, and varying levels of activity.
  • Schedule: Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts, as required by business needs.
  • Emergency Response: Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow hotel safety and emergency procedures.
