Job summary

BAYMONT BY WYNDHAM OF ELKO, NV is seeking a Night Auditor to join our front desk team. This overnight position handles guest check-ins, reservations and phone inquiries while maintaining accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate has proven hospitality experience, strong math and problem solving, excellent communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. High school diploma required; night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent math and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking and time management skills.
• Available to work overnight shifts.
• High School diploma or equivalent; stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations.
• Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies.
• Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks.
• Reconcile accounts; balance cash drawer and log receipts.
• Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts; keep accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Help prepare for forecasts and audits.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments and special requests.
• Follow hotel policies for reservations and payments.

  Front Desk Agent Responsibilities

  • Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and special requests
  • Take, modify, and cancel reservations according to hotel policies
  • Follow proper credit and cash handling procedures
  • Resolve guest concerns and assist with customer inquiries; provide information about hotel services and local attractions
  • Maintain key inventory and request re-keying as needed
  • Verify accuracy of guest registration and payment details
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager
