Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor in Syracuse, NY to balance room, restaurant, and bar activities daily and to post and balance charges and settlements efficiently. You will maintain files and reset systems for the next day’s operations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years experience in hotel front desk or customer service, a team player mindset, and strong numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report by auditing POS data to breakdown revenue, covers, tips, and settlements
• Make corrections and adjustments and troubleshoot system issues during shift
• Input revenue/expenses/allowances into front office system to generate daily reports (Guest Ledger Summary, Daily Restaurant Summary)
• Balance revenue and settlement accounts nightly and reset systems for next day operations
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks Night Auditor to balance room, restaurant and bar work daily. Post and balance charges and settlements in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain files and reset the systems for next day operations.

Here is what you will be doing each day as a Night Auditor:

• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.
• Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
• Input into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
