Job Overview: Balance room, restaurant, and bar work daily. Post and balance charges and settlements in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain files and reset systems for next day operations.

This position requires working 11pm to 7am, part-time.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing POS tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
  2. Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, POS, and computer.
  3. Make corrections and adjustments; handle computer problems during the shift.
  4. Input revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports such as Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
  5. Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day.
  6. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
  7. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Good communication with guests.
  • Willingness to assist co-workers.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use a 10-key calculator accurately.
  • Ability to handle guest and employee concerns positively.
  • Ability to input data accurately using a computer system.
