Job summary

Courtyard Charleston Waterfront is seeking a Part-time Night Auditor to join our front desk team in Charleston, SC. Compensation is based on experience; benefits include 401k and employee discounts.

The Night Auditor will balance accounts, prepare reports for management, and serve as the third shift Front Desk Agent in line with AURO Hotels' standards. Must be available 11:00 pm–7:00 am and able to speak English.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; high school diploma and/or 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
• Marriott brand and FOSSE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, and whenever possible, going the extra mile and doing whatever it takes to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Registers and processes guests promptly upon arrival and departure, to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Verifies that all charges to guest accounts made during the day are correct, and posts room charges for that day so that all guest accounts are current and in balance by 6:00 am the following morning or by the brand standard's designated time.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as the local area, and effectively assists guests.
• Must be available during the overnight shift (11:00 pm until 7:00 am).

The purpose of the Night Auditor is to audit all accounts to ensure they are in balance and prepare final reports for management; acts as the third shift Front Desk Agent ensuring maximum room revenues and guest satisfaction, in line with AURO Hotels' standards.
