Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor for an overnight shift (10pm-6am or 11pm-7am) in Berea, KY. The role focuses on maximizing revenue, handling guest accounts, and ensuring accurate check-in/check-out processes while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong numerical and data-analysis aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in/out, take reservations, and upsell as appropriate.
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute daily and monthly reports.
• Process credit card transactions timely and accurately.
• Keep management informed of unusual events or policy deviations.
• Cross-train in other accounting or hotel-related areas.

This is an overnight shift with hours ranging from 10pm-6am or 11pm-7am.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
• Must be willing to cross train in other accounting or hotel-related areas.
• Perform guest services functions as required (i.e. check guests in/out, take reservations, we-up calls, etc.).
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports as required (i.e., Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, Tax Reports, etc.) according to hotel standards.
• Prepare and distribute month-end reports.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Prioritize job functions in order to meet deadlines.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual data processing system functions as required.
• Keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or deviations of policies or procedures.
• Respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt.

Skills Required

• Provide high level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure, proficiency in keyboarding and computer technology, i.e. e-mail, MS Word, Excel, & other hotel related systems, aptitude with numbers/data analysis.

Experience / Education

• Knowledge/experience of accounting principles; prior customer service/hospitality experience is preferred; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
