Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Night Auditor to serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth checkout. The role involves front desk duties, balancing daily transactions, and producing accurate reports.

The candidate should have strong communication and customer service skills, be adaptable to night shifts, and able to work with a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Prior hospitality experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests at the front desk in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Balance hotel and restaurant transactions daily across payment methods.
• Follow standard credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures.
• Run audits and generate reports; record revenues and statistics accurately.
• Explain reports, folios, and procedures to guests or staff clearly.
• Protect guest and hotel information; maintain confidentiality.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their stay begins with a warm welcome and ends with exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• A Night Auditor will assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all front desk-related functions.
• Balance all hotel and restaurant transactions daily, including credit cards, cash, and change funds.
• Consistently follow all credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures.
• Run various audits and reports, and record all revenues and statistics accurately.
• Read, analyze, interpret, and effectively explain items such as standard reports, guest folios, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information.
• Effectively respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
