Job summary

The Global Ambassador is a luxury-hospitality hotel located at the intersection of Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. We seek a detail-oriented Night Auditor to ensure accurate end-of-day financials, post charges, and resolve discrepancies while delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities include audits, reports, and supporting overnight operations. Must have night-shift independence, strong numeracy, and experience with Opera PMS. Benefits apply for 25+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Night Audit or Accounting within luxury hospitality preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures preferred.

• Perform accurate and timely end-of-day financial reconciliation, ensuring all guest accounts are balanced with hotel records.
• Verify and post guest charges, payments, and adjustments with meticulous precision.
• Handle guest inquiries related to billing, charges, folio details with exceptional guest services.
• Generate and distribute relevant financial and operational reports to hotel management and departments.
• Conduct comprehensive audits of daily transactions and resolve discrepancies or errors.
• Assist the Front Desk with check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests during overnight hours.
• Monitor and control access to the hotel at night to ensure security.
• Act as point of contact for emergencies and coordinate necessary response.
• Maintain meticulous records of financial transactions in compliance with standards.
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance per luxury brand standards.

What You’ll Do

• Generate and distribute relevant financial and operational reports to various departments including hotel management
• Conduct comprehensive audits of daily transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies, errors or potential issues
• Assist the Front Desk with check ins, check outs, and guest requests during the overnight hours
• Monitor and control access to the hotel during the night, ensuring guest and property security
• Act as a point of contact for emergencies following protocol and coordinating necessary emergency response
• Maintain meticulous records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance in adherence to our luxury brand standards

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in Night Audit or Accounting within luxury hospitality environment is preferred
• Experience with Opera PMS is preferred
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures is preferred
• Proficiency with property management systems
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented and customer service focused
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Professional phone manner and teamwork mentality
