Job summary

HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof in Concord, NC is seeking a Night Attendant to provide front desk and guest services, with a starting wage up to $13.50–$14.00 per hour. This is a part-time, on-site position focused on courteous guest interactions and efficient service.

Responsibilities include handling check-ins/check-outs, assisting guests after hours, maintaining lobby and laundry areas, and ensuring cleanliness and safety while delivering quality hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1 year in previous customer service position.
• Basic English communication (verbal and written) skills required.
• Must have basic office skills (math, cash handling, computer skills).
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.

• Make courtesy calls within 30 minutes after guest check-in.
• Assist guests with requests and/or complaints after regular office hours.
• Handle check-ins/check-outs and issue guestroom keys for lost/lockouts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry rooms and guest laundry.
• Clean, dry and fold linens and towels.
• Provide courtesy patrol in lobby and front entrance area.
• Ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining guest privacy and safety.
• Post charges to the Property Management System as needed.
• Complete department checklists and reports for relevant shifts.

Specific Requirements

• Clean, dry and fold linen, blankets, bedspreads, etc.
• Provides courtesy patrol in lobby and front entrance area.
• Ensures exceptional customer service to all guests while maintain guest privacy and safety
• May compute bill, collect payments, and make changes for guests, post charges to Property Management system.
• Complete department checklists and reports for relevant shifts.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience
• 1 year in previous customer service position.
• Must have basic office skills (math, cash handling, computer skills, etc.)
• Basic English communication (verbal and written) skills required.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred
