Job summary

Delta Center is seeking a Building Security Officer to safeguard our arena during events such as Utah Mammoth and Utah Jazz games. The role requires mastery of security systems and strict adherence to established protocols to ensure safe day-to-day operations.

Shift is midnight to 8 am with a wage of $19 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling, reporting incidents, answering alarms, assisting guests and event staff, and enforcing safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid Utah driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to take objections and respond with a guest service approach first.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written direction.

Responsibilities

• Patrol areas to ensure property is secure and safe.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor and adjust controls for building systems.
• Assist with VIP and event crew parking.
• Assist with crowd flow and guest safety during emergencies.
• Enforce arena safety rules and policies.
