Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia provides an anesthesiology opportunity at Overlook Medical Center in northern New Jersey. The position supports a 7:00pm–7:00am night schedule with 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off, across Endo, General, Ortho, L&D, Neuro, ENT, Urology and GYN cases.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO from an accredited school, complete an Anesthesiology Residency, and be Board Eligible or Board Certified with active licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
