North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) joined Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across diverse surgical cases in Newport News, VA. This role features a 26 weeks on / 26 weeks off schedule with on-call and post-call coverage in a collaborative, values‑driven team.

Requirements include MD or DO, completion of an Anesthesiology Residency, Board eligibility or certification, and active medical licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
