Job summary

The Vines Hospital in Ocala, FL is recruiting a Night FT RN for the Admissions Department. The RN will handle all aspects of intake and admission, communicate with referral sources, assess mental health status, determine care level, verify insurance benefits, complete admissions, and liaise with nursing staff.

A $5,000 retention bonus is offered and shift is 7:30pm–7:00am. The Admissions RN will work cross-functionally with multiple departments to ensure seamless admission processes and patient

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required

Responsibilities

• Manage intake and admission processes for referrals and inquiries
• Review packets and admit patients to The Vines Hospital
• Coordinate with business office, medical staff, and nursing units as needed
• Identify insurance benefits and pre-certification requirements
• Communicate patient safety concerns and pertinent information to staff

Education

Associate degree in Nursing

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Florida RN license
