AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Front Desk Security Officer to manage entry points, enforce access control, and protect IP and high-value assets at our Midland-area facilities.

The role requires 2+ years in corporate security, familiarity with ITAR/EAR, CCTV monitoring, and badge systems. Night shifts Fri–Sun, 6pm–6am, DOE base pay. Training and compliance with aerospace security standards provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in corporate security, access control, or front desk security in aerospace/defense/manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with export-controlled, restricted, or high-security facilities.

Responsabilités

• Front Desk & Access Control: Monitor and control primary entry points to manufacturing, R&D, test, and corporate facilities; verify identity and credentials; enforce badge policies and visitor management; issue and collect temporary badges; maintain visitor logs; monitor CCTV and access control; escalate suspicious activity.
• Ingress and Egress Enforcement: Ensure proper authorization for restricted areas; enforce zoning and export-controlled restrictions; support onboarding/deprovisioning; prevent tailgating; conduct badge audits.
• IP and Asset Protection: Safeguard export-controlled technologies, prototypes, and flight hardware; enforce secure material handling; monitor movement of sensitive materials; report unauthorized photography or removal; serve as initial response point for incidents; coordinate during emergencies.
• Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to ITAR/EAR requirements; complete daily logs and incident reports; participate in security audits and inspections.
