Job summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks a Front Desk Security Officer to manage facility access, monitor entry points, and protect IP and high-value assets across a four-site footprint between Odessa and Midland. You’ll verify identities, enforce badge policies, and log visitor activity while coordinating with Corporate Security and EH&S to maintain regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong situational awareness, the ability to work nights Fri–Sun, and experience in aerospace or high-security

Qualifications

• 2+ years in corporate security, access control, or front desk security operations.
• Experience with export-controlled or high-security facilities preferred.
• Familiarity with access control systems and CCTV platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control primary entry points to manufacturing, R&D, test, and corporate facilities.
• Verify identity and credentials of employees, contractors, visitors, customers, and vendors prior to granting access.
• Enforce badge policies, escort requirements, and visitor management procedures.
• Issue and collect temporary badges per security protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and access records.
• Monitor CCTV feeds and access control systems for unauthorized activity.
• Escalate security incidents and support lockdown procedures as needed.
