Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Management Driver in Georgetown, DE to manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and offers a flexible schedule with evening shifts. Prior security and access-control experience is preferred; training and growth opportunities are available within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience are required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct personnel and deliveries in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including exterior areas and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate access-control documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
