Job summary

Allied Universal in Clayton, NC is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Driver to protect clients across industries, manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor activity with a focus on customer service.

This role requires a valid driver's license, background check, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds. You will work a night schedule and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal's culture.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal policy.
Customer service experience preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain records.
Control access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents and document activities.
Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized entry.
