Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract in Oregon. Active Oregon RN license is required, with BLS/NRP; RNC preferred. 1+ year NICU experience and travel nursing background are expected. Proficiency in ventilator management and Epic EMR is necessary.

The role involves caring for neonates in Level III/IV NICU, with potential float to PICU or infant floors, 3x12 hour night shifts, and a weekend rotation within a 6-week schedule.

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or proof of license application with fingerprinting.
BLS and NRP certifications required; RNC preferred.
Minimum 1 year NICU experience; travel nursing experience preferred.
Proficient in neonatal dosing calculations and meds in NICU.

Responsibilities

Care for neonates in NICU Level III/IV in a children's hospital.
Manage ventilation and complex neonatal support within scope.
Float to PICU/Infants floor as needed; night shift 19:00–07:30.
Adhere to Epic EMR documentation and assigned education timelines.
Provide comprehensive neonatal critical care including respiratory and cardiovascular management.
