Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Round Rock is seeking an experienced Transport Registered Nurse (RN) to support the NICU Transport program. This role combines bedside neonatal care with transport opportunities across the Baylor Scott & White Health system.

You will care for high-risk neonates in mobile settings, attend high-risk deliveries, and collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe transports and exceptional family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN license.
• NICU experience required; transport experience preferred.
• Two years of relevant professional experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Round Rock NICU team and attend high-risk deliveries.
• Provide specialized neonatal care during ground and air transport missions.
• Coordinate the safe transport of neonatal patients into the Baylor Scott & White NICU network.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high quality patient care.
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care in a fast-paced and specialized environment.
