Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Round Rock is seeking an experienced Transport Registered Nurse to support the NICU Transport program. This role combines bedside neonatal care with transport opportunities within the Baylor Scott & White Health system.

As a Transport RN you will assist the NICU team during high-risk deliveries, provide specialized neonatal care on ground and air missions, and coordinate safe transfers into the NICU network while collaborating with physicians, respiratory

Qualifications

Current RN licensure.
Previous NICU Experience Required.

Responsibilities

Providing vital care knowledge to help the team assess patients, stabilize conditions, implement interventions, and communicate effectively with physicians.
Taking part in trauma team operations, and becoming an energetic member of the Rapid Response Team whenever possible.
Contributing to the achievement of personal, departmental and hospital targets by providing innovative ideas, suggestions, and solutions.
Participating in ongoing education, team meetings, interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and training sessions at department and hospital levels.
Participation in the process of developing and verifying patient care standards that apply to those being transported.
