Qualifications

• BSN preferred or willing to obtain within 3 years of hire
• 6+ months nursing experience required
• 2-3 years inpatient nursing experience preferred
• 2-3 years SCN/NICU, Mother Baby experience preferred
• Current RN license in New Jersey
• BLS/CPR certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• NRP highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments independently
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients
• Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes
• Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition
• Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses
