Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ seeks a night shift, PRN NICU Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal ICU team. You will care for high-risk newborns, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff, and support families during care transitions.

Requirements include 1 year NICU Level II experience (Level III preferred), graduation from an NLN/CCNE-accredited program, valid NJ RN license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Level II NICU experience required
• NICU Level III experience preferred
• Graduate of NLN/ACNE/NLN-ACNN accredited program
• Current valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patients’ health by completing the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients and families
• Supervise assigned team members
