Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across all aspects of respiratory care under physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for the team.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program, an active Respiratory Care Practitioner license, and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials. ACLS is preferred; PALS is required in ER.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC. PALS required for ER.
• ACLS preferred.
• Critical care experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
